Just a swingin'...

We like to go on walks to the little park down the street. Today daddy brought his camera with us. Cambry didn't offer many smiles for the camera but she still had a great time. We enjoyed this beautiful day!

First Kiss :)

We got together with some good friends for lunch on Saturday. Cambry got to meet her friend Jack, Andrea's little boy, for the first time. He thought she was pretty cute and went in for a kiss. Daddy said good defense with the hands in front of the mouth and no more kissing boys! :)

4 months

Its been a wonderful past 4 months with our baby girl! It is so hard to believe it has already been that long. I am absolutely loving being home with her each day--we have so much fun together! Cambry had her 4 month checkup on Wednesday and got an A+ in all areas! We are so thankful she is a healthy and happy girl! Here are some up to date things about Cambry:

* Weight: 16 lbs (95th percentile)
* Height: 25 1/2 in (95th percentile)
* Eats 6 feedings of 5 1/2 oz of breastmilk. We started rice cereal yesterday and despite the mess she really liked it! Hopefully this will help some with her spitting up.
* Sleeping through the night 8:30pm-7:30am with a dreamfeed at 10:00pm.
* She takes 3 naps that are 1 1/2-2 hours long during the day and a 45 minute to hour nap in the evening.
* She is reaching & grabbing for objects--everything goes into the mouth!
* Smiling, smiling, smiling! She is such a happy baby.
* Cambry loves to "talk" and the louder the room is, the louder she gets!
* She is very ticklish--we love to hear her giggles when she gets tickled!
* She is rolling from tummy to back and she seems to almost have the back to tummy roll over.
* She still doesn't really enjoy tummy time and would much rather being kicking around on her back.
* She loves to stand up in our laps with her strong legs.
* We started weaning her from the swaddle. We had a few rough naps and one rough night, but she has adjusted well. She loves to sleep with her hands above her head now. :)
* Cambry really enjoys being outside and going for walks.
* Cambry loves music--she likes being sung to, listening to toys with music, or any background music we have on.

Cambry brings so much joy to our lives and we can't imagine our life without her! We love our sweet girl!! Here are a few 4 month old pictures Steve snapped of us the other day:

Feeding the ducks...

The weather has been so beautiful this week, so we spent some time one evening feeding the ducks at a pond down the street from us! Cambry loves being outside!!

Look at that tongue! It's a new discovery for her...we like to call it her lizard tongue! :)
