Cambry's First Christmas!!

We had the most wonderful Christmas this year with our little girl! We started our festivities with our "family of 3" Christmas on Christmas Eve morning. We woke up & had a yummy cinnamon roll breakfast, opened presents & enjoyed the day together celebrating the birth of Christ! We told Cambry it was pretty special to have a white Christmas as her first Christmas! On Christmas Day, we woke up early & went to G & Pops' house for Christmas with my immediate family. That afternoon, we headed to Ft. Worth for another family Christmas with my mom's side of the family. The next day we got up early and drove to Conroe to see YaYa & Poppy for Christmas with Steve's side of the family. It was a busy few days but we enjoyed all the memories we made with Cambry & our family as we celebrated the birth of our Savior, together! And boy did Cambry get spoiled by our family!!! :)

Thanks for making our stockings, G!

Cambry LOVED pulling the tissue paper out of gifts the most! :)

She was also busy, busy with the paper from her gifts!

Some fun in the snow!!

Pops showing Cambry the tradition of him sneaking the dog into the nativity scene. Silly Pops!

Enjoying sitting with her Great Grandma (Mammaw)

Aunt Summer & Aunt Kendall liked putting the panda hood on Cambry's head. Cambry thought it was pretty funny!

We can't forget Lucy...she had a great Christmas, too! :)

Family Pictures

Our friend Jenny said it so well that as photographers wives, we often find ourselves asking, "But when are we going to get our family pictures taken?" A while back, Jenny & I decided that since our husbands are both photographers we would have them take each others family pictures. What a deal! Josh was so kind to take a few family pictures of us back in November when Cambry was 6 months old. We were very pleased with them and are so thankful to have a few family pictures of our own! Thanks for capturing these sweet memories for us Josh!!

Play Date!

Cambry had a play date with her friends Addyson & Reagan today! Jody, Courtney & I worked together and our baby girls are each about 3-4 weeks apart. Since we are staying home with our girls now we try to get together often. Today we were reminiscing of the first time we all got together & they were so tiny & just slept...now they are rolling & crawling all over the place! So fun! Thanks for coming over today--we are already looking forward to next time!

This picture makes me laugh. We were trying to get a pic of all 3 of them & Reagan kept touching Cambry & Cambry wasn't too happy about it. :)

Another try with a little rearranging :)

Cute friends

Ho, Ho, Ho!

We took Cambry to Stonebriar Mall for her first visit with Santa! We weren't really sure what to expect as far as her sitting in his lap. She hasn't had stranger anxiety yet, so we were hoping she wouldn't mind Santa. When it was her turn, we sat her down in his lap & she looked up at him, smiled, and grabbed his beard! haha She didn't seem to mind him a bit. Steve brought his camera and snapped a few pictures on the side, too.

Cambry says she's excited to go see Santa!

Here's the one they got:

These are a couple we took on the side:

Merry Christmas!!

Snow!!

Steve woke me up as he was leaving for work on Tuesday to tell me it was snowing! FUN!! So I decided that Cambry needed to experience her first snow. After she had her breakfast, I bundled her up and we headed out for a few pictures. She started off happy but once she felt it on her hands she didn't want to have anything to do with it. She also kept falling backwards due to her puffy jacket. Poor baby! She didn't care for that much either. We might be a bit too young to enjoy it. Maybe next year...
