I sure have gotten behind in our blog posts. We have had a busy, but fun July! Here are some things we have been up to...
We took another weekend trip to Conroe to visit YaYa & Poppy. Cambry also got to meet her Uncle Clay (Steve's brother) for the first time & see her cousin Clayton again. We had a great time swimming and eating yummy food!
Look at that pouty face!
Cambry & I took a weekend trip down to College Station with my good friend & college roommate, Katie to see one of our college friends, Chris, get married. We decided to make it a girls trip because one of our other good friends & college roomie, Laura & her family came in town from Virginia with her 3 kiddos! Laura wanted to meet Cambry & I got to meet Ben, Laura's newest. I was a little worried about going on the trip without Daddy, but Cambry did absolutely wonderful and Katie was a huge help! We had a great time catching up, meeting each others newest additions & seeing our friend get married.
The babies saved us in the 100 degree heat at the outside reception and we got to go indoors with them because it was so hot. (only family & wedding party were allowed in there!)
Cambry went to the church nursery for the first time today! Even though I worked in our church nursery regularly before I had Cambry & know what good hands she would be in, I was still a little nervous leaving her. They said she did great--snuggled, took a little nap, & played. We are thankful for the sweet servants that took care of our little girl while we got the chance to enjoy service together.
We have also been spending time meeting friends for lunch & play dates along with playing hard at home! G, Pops, Aunt Summer & Aunt Kendall love to come over to play and even offer to babysit so I can run some errands or so Steve & I are able to go out together. We are very blessed to have family so close and that love some Cambry time!
Finally, Cambry is about to turn 3 months--I like to call it 13 weeks though because it makes her sound younger. :) I just can't believe she is already that old. She is growing like a weed & gets more and more fun each day! It is so neat to watch her develop right before our eyes. What a miracle children are!

Way to go leaving her in the nursery!!!! You two are going to be better parents because of that!!!!! I'm so glad you are getting to take time together. She is precious! Absolutely gorgeous! We need to get together, so we can catch up and I can play!
